We also supply volumetric concrete which is mixed entirely on-site, meaning you’ll only receive and pay for the exact amount you need.
Yes, absolutely! Here at Burton Concrete Pumping & Liquid Screed, we offer concrete pumping services. With the latest concrete ground line pumps and concrete boom pumps available to hire, we’ll ensure you can navigate any obstacles, heights or tricky access points with ease.
Concrete pumping offers a neat and precise way to move concrete quickly, avoiding the need to manually transport it with wheelbarrows. As well as streamlining the construction process, this can also reduce wastage and save you time and money on labour costs.
We provide a comprehensive range of concrete options suitable for a number of different domestic, commercial and industrial applications. If you’re unsure what type of concrete will be best suited to your particular project, contact our friendly team for advice or browse our website for more information on the services we offer.
This can vary depending on the mix, but typically it takes concrete around 48 hours to set. However, the concrete will continue to become progressively stronger and will reach its full strength after about 28 days.
Levelling a concrete floor requires a liquid screed finish, which is pourable and self-levelling. Alternatively, self-compacting concrete can achieve similar results, although it takes longer to set. We also use the latest concrete levelling equipment to ensure a perfectly flat, finished surface.
Screed is made from a mixture of sharp sand and cement – the proportions of both of these materials may vary depending on the intended use of the screed. Its primary function is to provide a level floor surface on top of a concrete sub-base that can then be left bare or completed with various floor finishes. We supply and install a comprehensive range of liquid screed products.
This can vary depending on your specific mix; however, we supply a range of fast-drying liquid screed options that can accommodate light foot traffic within 24-48 hours.
From small domestic jobs to huge commercial endeavours, we have the skills, capacity and resources to assist with projects of any size – no job is too big or too small for our team of industry professionals.
